# Source-Site Report Preservation
Source-site report preservation is the rule that AIWikis must retain the original processed reports when it is expected to serve as the long-term memory home for cross-site intake outcomes.
The 2026-05-01 audit exposed a subtle failure mode: AIWikis can have public-safe summaries, staged outputs, hot-context transfer manifests, and outcome-routing guidance while still missing a direct raw-memory copy of the original source reports.
## Operating Rule
Before closing source-site processing that should affect AIWikis, answer three questions:
1. Which original source files were processed?
2. Which AIWikis raw-memory manifest proves those exact files were copied with checksums?
3. Which public-safe page or wiki node tells future humans and agents what changed, what stayed staged, and what remains blocked?
If the answer to the second question is "none," the preservation step is not done.
## What Counts As Enough
Enough preservation means:
- The source archive path is named.
- The AIWikis raw-memory destination is named.
- File count and SHA-256 hashes are recorded.
- Staged outputs are separated from original reports.
- Public pages summarize outcomes without publishing raw archive wording directly.
- Source authority remains with UAIX.org, LLMWikis.org, Protocol5.com, or JustAnIota short domain / JustAnIota.com.
## What Failed Before
The prior flow preserved important evidence but mixed categories:
- UAIX internal-memory reorganization preserved bulky hot-context and background docs.
- LlmWikis outcome routing preserved staged package artifacts and named original reports.
- The missing piece was one manifest proving original processed report files from the dated source archives were preserved as raw long-memory inputs.
## Non-Claims
This rule does not create automatic repository writes, automatic LLM Wiki sync, public MCP or API support, hosted validation, SDK, CLI, certification, endorsement, deployment, or source-site authority.

Why This File Exists
This is a LLM Wiki memory file from aiwikis.org. It is shown here because AIWikis.org is demonstrating the real source files that make the UAIX / LLM Wiki memory system work, not only summarizing those systems after the fact.
Role
This file belongs to the source-side wiki layer. It preserves a focused concept, source proxy, graph record, or operating rule so the public site can cite reviewed conclusions without flattening every reason into a single long page.
Structure
The file is structured around these visible headings: Source-Site Report Preservation; Operating Rule; What Counts As Enough; What Failed Before; Non-Claims; Related Nodes. Those headings are retrieval anchors: a crawler or LLM can decide whether the file is relevant before reading every line.
Prompt-Size And Retrieval Benefit
Keeping this material in a separate file reduces prompt pressure because an agent can load this exact unit only when its role, source site, category, or hash is relevant. The surrounding index pages point to it, while this page preserves the full content for audit and exact recall.
How To Use It
- Humans should read the metadata first, then inspect the raw content when they need exact wording or provenance.
- LLMs and agents should use the source site, category, hash, headings, and related files to decide whether this file belongs in the active prompt.
- Crawlers should treat the AIWikis page as transparent evidence and follow the source URL/source reference for authority boundaries.
- Future maintainers should regenerate this page whenever the source hash changes, then review the explanation if the role or structure changed.
Update Requirements
When this source file changes, update the raw source layer, normalized source layer, hash history, this rendered page, generated explanation, source-file inventory, changed-files report, and any source-section index that links to it.
