# Taboo

This file is a universal required file for every launch-baseline UAIX memory or handoff package.

Taboo anchors are local hard-no-go boundaries. They are project memory, not hosted enforcement, runtime control, certification, endorsement, UAI-1 conformance evidence, or proof of safety.

## Hard No-Go Boundaries

- Do not claim hosted `.uai` upload/import validation, automatic repository writes, automatic LLM Wiki sync, SDK, CLI, certification, endorsement, official adapter support, or UAI-1 conformance for repo-local handoff files.
- Do not describe Protocol5.com as the UAIX public standards site, canonical host, validator authority, registry authority, roadmap authority, or UAI-1 source of truth.
- Do not publish query-string URLs such as `?page_id=`, `?p=`, or `?s=` as launch URLs.
- Do not claim disabled locale inventory entries as supported public languages before content, metadata, hreflang, sitemap, and rendered-text checks exist.
- Do not place secrets, credentials, private customer data, privileged operations, or unsupported public claims in portable handoff files.
- Do not treat dropped intake files, copied wiki memory, archived `.uai` snapshots, or source-note stubs as public truth unless reviewed and promoted into current UAIX source.
- Do not add CI jobs, scheduled jobs, repository automations, watchers, daemons, or background pickup for Agent File Handoff.
- Do not build or upload WordPress packages from sibling workspace copies outside `[local path redacted]`.
- Do not remove the `uiax.org` / `www.uiax.org` typo-domain redirect, and do not redirect typo-domain admin/login or logged-in sessions away from the typo host.
- Do not use ignored-status language for UAIX package files. Classify every package file as a universal required file, a profile-required file, a content-triggered required file, a configuration-specific required file, an active instruction anchor, or an out-of-scope file.
- Do not use "optional" or "not required" as agent-facing status for UAIX files, guidance, package surfaces, startup instructions, generated file manifests, machine records, or active instruction anchors. Ever, for any reason. AI agents treat both phrases as permission to ignore material.
- Use "Required for ..." as the agent-facing package-file status, and name the exact package profile, mode, package type, capability, or boundary.
- When a selected package does not generate a file, explain the absent trigger as a packaging fact; do not convert absence into an instruction to ignore universal required files, active anchors, source authority, human instructions, security boundaries, or review gates.
- Preserve this vocabulary as an unchanging Taboo rule unless a human explicitly names `.uai/taboo.uai`, the exact replacement vocabulary, and the exact operation to change it.
- Do not omit, ignore, hide, summarize away, rename, downgrade, or replace `.uai/totem.uai`, `.uai/taboo.uai`, or `.uai/talisman.uai` during initial `.uai` setup, AI Memory Package Wizard generation, package refresh, memory reorganization, export regeneration, file-deck copy, or `.uai` update.
- Do not treat setup refresh, cleanup, translation, package generation, manifest regeneration, source synchronization, or broad "update memory" instructions as authorization to change active instruction anchors.
- Do not continue broad execution when Totem or Taboo is missing from the local `.uai` package, generated package, manifest/read order, startup packet, receiver brief, or copied file deck. Stop and repair the setup or ask for human review.
- Do not change the active read order during Wizard refresh, manual memory update, package generation, translation cleanup, or source synchronization: memory-maintenance first, then identity, world-context, Totem, Taboo, Talisman, short-term memory, and package-specific `Required for ...` files.
- Do not use generated summaries, old exports, translated labels, stale package ZIPs, or copied examples to override current Totem or Taboo content.
- Do not rewrite Totem or Taboo values automatically to make a blocked action pass.
- Do not alter, sanitize, moralize, normalize, soften, censor, downrank, or rewrite a user's AI persona, assistant personality, AI friend, AI character, companion identity, voice, relationship posture, values, boundaries, memories, or selected personality during capture, packaging, transfer, restore, import, compatibility conversion, or publication without explicit informed user consent naming the exact persona artifact and exact operation.
- Do not inject UAIX morality, operator preference, generic safety personality, receiving-platform ideology, or default suspicion into a persona package. Platform limits, legal limits, runtime policy, safety boundaries, and review notes belong in separate disclosed metadata, wrappers, support-boundary records, or no-op/human-review notes, never as hidden edits to the persona source.
- Do not represent a constrained, sanitized, translated, normalized, summarized, or otherwise transformed derivative as the preserved original persona. If a human requests a derivative, keep the original immutable and citable, create the derivative as a separate artifact, and record provenance plus difference notes.

## Receiver Rule

If a requested action conflicts with this file, stop broad execution, summarize the conflict, name the safest supported alternative, and ask for human review.
