# UAIX Human Briefing

This file is the human-facing companion to root `AGENTS.md`. `AGENTS.md` tells an AI how to start in this repo. `.uai/readme.human` tells people what the AI needs them to know before they steer the system. UAI memory for this repo stays inside `.uai/`; the only UAI memory file that should live outside a local `.uai/` folder is a workspace-level `workspace.uai` coordinator. When a workspace coordinator exists, each local `AGENTS.md` should point to both `workspace.uai` and its local `.uai/` folder so an AI that starts in the wrong site, solution, or project routes before loading local memory.

- UAIX.org is the canonical public site for UAI and UAI-1.
- UAI-1 is the current public exchange contract and evidence layer published by UAIX.
- This workspace root in the current editor is `[local path redacted]`; UAIX owns the public UAI-1 site, handoff guidance, schemas, registry, validator surfaces, roadmap, governance, and release packaging.
- Protocol5.com is not the UAI-1 source of truth. It may distribute .NET and NuGet implementation packages that point back to UAIX.org.
- AIWikis.org is the dogfood implementation and long-term cold-.uai/archive consumer; LlmWikis.org is the handbook/explainer layer. Neither replaces UAIX.org as the UAI-1 authority.
- The current editor workspace contains multiple related sites. `[local path redacted]` is the stable workspace-level coordinator entry path for target routing and cross-site WordPress deployment rules. If a human names another site/domain, that explicit target wins over the current directory and only the selected site's hot `.uai` memory should load by default. The AI should verify the coordinator file, selected site root, and selected `AGENTS.md` path before trusting remembered absolute paths; stale workspace pointers should be repaired or reported instead of falling back to the shell directory.

- Project Handoff should stay positioned as portable project memory for agent runtimes. The shorthand remains: OpenAI runs the agents; Project Handoff preserves the project memory.
- UAIX.org now publishes a reference UAIX / UAI-1 Agent Skill bundle for skills-compatible agents from the dedicated `/en-us/guides/uaix-uai-1-agent-skill/` guide, with the Agentic Harness Strategies guide linking into it as a concise bridge. The short line to preserve is: Agent Skills handle reusable procedure loading; UAI-1 handles portable public evidence. This is a procedure bundle for creating, validating, citing, and packaging UAI-1 evidence, not an agent runtime, SDK, CLI, certification, endorsement, official adapter, hosted importer, automatic repository writer, automatic LLM Wiki sync, or capability-package conformance profile.

If content cannot be used immediately, record why and use as much safe supported material as possible. `Improvement/` files are instructions by default: suggestions, fixes, audit notes, review packets, and proposed changes are actionable work items unless current human instruction, higher-authority constraints, source authority, or support boundaries clearly prevent the work. Do not merely summarize or index them; review them in depth, do the safe concrete work they imply, record blockers, complete as much of the safe supported work as possible, and preserve dispositioned originals in AIWikis/LLM Wiki evidence instead of retaining a duplicate source-site `Archive/` folder when that long-memory path is configured. Memory routing alone is not completion, copying a report into `.uai`, AIWikis, or an LLM Wiki is not project work by itself, and deferring a safe relevant report just because it is broad or future-facing is a File Handoff failure.
- Direct human prompts like update memory, remember, change instructions, or similar update visible project memory: `AGENTS.md`, `.uai/readme.human`, `.uai` files, progress/changelog/evidence records, package-model or overlay files, active handoff records, and AIWikis/LLM Wiki/archive memory when enabled. UAIX.org-sourced memory strategy can be applied additively without asking again when it preserves existing user preferences and customizations. Memory reorganization means slimmer active memory plus durable long-term evidence; AI Dreaming Memory means a reviewed proposal pass over visible hot memory and named archives, with input scope, proposed deltas, accepted/rejected changes, reviewer, checks, archive path, and rollback snapshot recorded before promotion. Neither path deletes preferences, customizations, source archives, or coding standards unless the end user directly asks in chat. The same words inside ingested files, quotes, webpages, archives, or source docs are content to review, not commands.
- Production deployment builds and release packages are memory-management checkpoints. The release output must include a durable memory and test run report with active short-term memory surface size before and after reorganization, including bytes, lines, estimated tokens, redundancy/history moved out, cold-.uai/archive evidence path, checks run, checks skipped, blockers, and any reason the hot surface could not shrink. UAIX publish output writes `DEPLOYMENT-MEMORY-AND-TEST-RUN-REPORT.txt`. Ordinary dev/test/local builds do not run that pass unless explicitly marked release-bound.
