# LlmWikis Progress

## Recently Completed

- Added bounded agentic support escalation guidance to `/guides/llm-wiki-agentic-orchestration/`, `/for-ai-agents/`, the starter-bundle `llm-wiki/agent/SUPPORT_ESCALATION_CHECKLIST.md`, public-surface and starter-bundle regression coverage, and handoff state so agents know when to stop, preserve evidence, classify conflicts or unsafe states, and ask reviewers instead of inventing authority or widening support claims.
- Added `/guides/llm-wiki-agentic-orchestration/`, starter-bundle `llm-wiki/agent/ORCHESTRATION_RUNBOOK.md` and `llm-wiki/agent/TASK_PACKET_TEMPLATE.md`, Guides hub wiring, route metadata, `llms.txt`, `sitemap.xml`, public-surface and starter-bundle regression coverage, roadmap gate language, and handoff state so LlmWikis teaches how agentic agents and orchestration layers use governed wiki memory before, during, and after runs without claiming public MCP, A2A, write API, trace exporter, live eval, managed runtime, SDK/CLI, certification, or official-adapter support.
- Extended `/for-ai-agents/` with a compact Agentic Orchestration Mode that points agents to `ORCHESTRATION_RUNBOOK.md` and the deeper orchestration guide, so the agent-facing entry route now covers before/during/after-run behavior, staged evidence, and support-claim boundaries.
- Processed the 2026-05-02 Improvement intake `Where we go from here LLMWikis.md` into durable strategy, roadmap, and progress state. The accepted direction positions LlmWikis as a governed knowledge layer for existing agent runtimes and platforms, while keeping MCP, staged write APIs, A2A patterns, trace/eval packs, verified integrations, managed services, certification, SDK, CLI, and UAIX support claims gated until evidence exists.
- Promoted the processed Improvement staged-site-drafts into real public seeded content: `/guides/using-llm-wiki-with-codex/`, `/guides/llm-wiki-ai-memory-project-handoff/`, and `/governance/review-gated-publication-model/`, plus updates to For AI Agents, Security and Privacy, Agent Handoff Patterns, Guides, Governance, `llms.txt`, and `sitemap.xml`.
- Completed the 2026-05-01 hot/cold memory reorganization. Pre-slim LlmWikis `AGENTS.md`, `readme.human`, and loaded `.uai` files were copied into AIWikis long-term memory with SHA-256 transfer evidence in `raw/system-archives/2026-05-01-llmwikis-internal-memory-reorg.json`. LlmWikis keeps concise active context; AIWikis keeps cold provenance and original wording.
- Updated LlmWikis public handbook guidance on Start Here, Operations, AGENTS.md design, Agent Handoff, Memory Lifecycle, and LLM Wiki vs AI Memory so readers learn the same prevention rule: keep startup context small and route old evidence to cold memory with a manifest, source summary, and log.
- Added first-class implementation-ready LLM Wiki standard/build routes, dynamic registry-backed starter template bundle, route metadata, public discovery files, and targeted public-surface/starter-bundle regression scripts while keeping UAIX authority boundaries intact.
- Clarified LlmWikis.org as the source publisher for `llm-wiki-starter-bundle.zip`; AIWikis and other consumers should link to or consume that source-published bundle instead of publishing site-branded starter clones.
- Clarified Agent File Handoff as AGENTS.md-triggered chat-start intake using `agent-file-handoff/Content/`, `agent-file-handoff/Improvement/`, ignored `Archive/`, `.uai/intake-index.uai`, and explicit dispositions. No watcher, daemon, queue, CI pickup, scheduled job, or background service is part of the base pattern.
- Reframed LlmWikis as a handbook-first public site with UAIX/UAI material in a non-normative Protocols and Case Studies track.

## Current Focus

- Keep hot handoff context small: `AGENTS.md`, `readme.human`, and loaded `.uai` files should carry current truth, not every historical build paragraph.
- Keep large history, route-strategy background, old QA notes, and pre-slim snapshots in AIWikis long-term memory unless a task explicitly needs original wording.
- Keep LlmWikis public copy practical, source-aware, and implementation-oriented for people building personal and team LLM Wikis.
- Keep UAIX.org canonical for UAI-1, AI Memory, Project Handoff, schemas, registry, validator behavior, roadmap, governance, and support boundaries.
- Keep current support claims limited to the handbook pages, managed discovery files, starter bundle, local handoff pattern, and targeted checks that actually exist.
- Keep planned features marked as planned: live benchmarks, automated ingestion, public MCP, public editing, memberships, grants, certification, and multilingual support.
- Keep ecosystem positioning complementary: LlmWikis should make existing agent runtimes, protocol surfaces, guardrails, and evaluation tools safer to use with governed knowledge rather than presenting itself as a replacement for them.
- Keep the agentic orchestration guide practical and bounded: runtimes orchestrate, tools execute, support escalation stops unsafe or unsupported continuation, and LLM Wikis preserve source memory, staged proposals, review evidence, and update boundaries.
- Keep the promoted Codex/AI Memory/Project Handoff pages explicit that LlmWikis is explanatory and UAIX remains canonical for AI Memory, Project Handoff, UAI-1, schemas, registry, and validator behavior.

## Known Blockers

- The corrected `[local path redacted]` path may still need Studio registration/import before `studio wp` runtime checks can run.
- Legal entity, license, privacy, DMCA/takedown, analytics, and contributor intake details need human decisions before public contribution opens.
- Public multilingual support is not implemented.
- No live external benchmark APIs, automated ingestion pipelines, public MCP server, grouped search, or citation-backed conversational search are connected yet.
- External uptime, backup, CDN, DNS, and edge-header monitoring still need operator-owned production review outside this repo.

## Next Work

- Keep AIWikis memory summaries aligned when LlmWikis promotes, retires, or stubs large internal docs.
- Add worked starter-bundle variants, CI-ready lint recipes, and codebase/support/research wiki examples.
- Run a focused contrast/accessibility front-end pass from the processed contrast-theme audit when UI work resumes.
- Add source-reviewed schema gallery variants for codebase, research, support, legal, and team LLM Wikis.
- Add privacy-safe adapter guidance for converting agent session histories into source-reviewed wiki inputs without exposing private transcripts.
- Expand source-reviewed agentic orchestration recipes only after official docs are checked; keep vendor maturity tables and current-market claims internal until refreshed.
- Design read-only MCP, staged write proposal contracts, A2A-style maintainer handoffs, trace/eval starter packs, and governed-knowledge benchmark criteria as gated candidates rather than current support.
- Add qualitative confidence, contradiction, supersession, and stale-claim guidance before considering numeric confidence scoring or automated decay models.
- Register/import the corrected Studio path so runtime lint, activation, seeded-page, and HTTP smoke checks can run.
- Use `.uai/test-plan.uai` to choose targeted checks for ordinary edits and reserve `scripts/publish-llmwikis-packages.ps1` for ZIP/release work or explicit full-check requests.

## Done Means

- A new AI can read `AGENTS.md`, `readme.human`, and the loaded `.uai` files and accurately explain current LlmWikis purpose, UAIX boundaries, active public surface, active intake, and next checks without loading old history by default.
- Historical LlmWikis handoff snapshots remain recoverable from AIWikis raw memory and compiled source/concept/log nodes.
- Public readers can distinguish LLM Wiki long memory from compact AI Memory and Project Handoff packets.
- Final responses name targeted checks run and clearly say when full package/release checks were out of scope.

Why This File Exists

This is a UAI AI Memory handoff file from aiwikis.org. It is shown here because AIWikis.org is demonstrating the real source files that make the UAIX / LLM Wiki memory system work, not only summarizing those systems after the fact.

Role

This .uai file is a compact progress packet. It keeps one kind of durable project truth separate from the rest of the archive so an agent can load the topic it needs without pulling the whole project history into prompt context.

Structure

The file is structured around these visible headings: LlmWikis Progress; Recently Completed; Current Focus; Known Blockers; Next Work; Done Means. Those headings are retrieval anchors: a crawler or LLM can decide whether the file is relevant before reading every line.

Prompt-Size And Retrieval Benefit

Keeping this material in a separate file reduces prompt pressure because an agent can load this exact unit only when its role, source site, category, or hash is relevant. The surrounding index pages point to it, while this page preserves the full content for audit and exact recall.

How To Use It

  • Humans should read the metadata first, then inspect the raw content when they need exact wording or provenance.
  • LLMs and agents should use the source site, category, hash, headings, and related files to decide whether this file belongs in the active prompt.
  • Crawlers should treat the AIWikis page as transparent evidence and follow the source URL/source reference for authority boundaries.
  • Future maintainers should regenerate this page whenever the source hash changes, then review the explanation if the role or structure changed.

Update Requirements

When this source file changes, update the raw source layer, normalized source layer, hash history, this rendered page, generated explanation, source-file inventory, changed-files report, and any source-section index that links to it.
